I am just gutted to read of this. I loved sharing girl-Dad stories, advice, support with Jim every month or so. Just such a great guy and friend who so clearly loved his wife and girls so very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I hope you take some comfort in knowing that his impact on his community is so much greater than you’ll ever fully know. He made the world a better place. What more can you want of someone. A great family and positive impact on community = a life well lived indeed. So profoundly sorry to hear it was so cruelly cut so short. RIP my friend.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing; wishing the family strength and peace at this time. I had the pleasure of jump-starting every month with a haircut appointment @ 18 Taft Drive, 7:15 am, on the first Wednesday. Upon entering the door I was handed a cup of high-octane black coffee. This was followed by: 1. Morty's philosphy of life, 2. Thoughtful boasting about his family - Lisa, Victoria, Isabella, and Juliette, 3. His amazing theories about the management of WCC. He would then refill my coffee with the assertion regarding my hair "I made the best of a bad situation". Shaking from the coffee I would drive away overwhelmed by his keen sense of humor and dry wit. Morty was a larger-than-life character and a great guy. RIP - Joe Monahan

I worked out with Jim at Boyles Strength & Conditioning in Woburn. I got to know him and loved him immediately. We would push each other to do more. When we talked while warming up, he would brag about his three daughters whom he adored. As I am a freelance writer and former Executive Creative Director at Arnold Worldwide, we talked about Tori's success at Arnold often. The last time I saw him was when a group of Boyles people met for drinks to meet former trainer Ken. Jim organized this. And I'm so glad he did as I got to see him one more time. Everybody loved Jim. I loved Jim. I will miss him greatly and I pray for strength for Lisa and his daughters and everybody who loves Jim.
