Marjorie “Girlie” (Shea) Logan, wife of the late James L.P. Logan, daughter of the late Florence and William Shea passed peacefully on October 3rd at the age of 96. Girlie is the loving mother of Jane Logan Tucker (and her late husband Stephen), James L.P. Logan, Jr. (and his wife Marianne), William F. Logan (and his wife Susan), and the late Charles R. Logan (and his widow Linda). Sister of Nancy (Shea) Frey and the late Evariste, William, Russell, Raymond, Florence (Shea) Wall, Mary (Shea) Harrington and Patricia (Shea) Donovan Andrew.
Adored grandmother of William, Nancy, and James Tucker, Victoria Heckman, Andrew, Jeffrey, Russell, Matthew and Jack Logan. Great grandmother of six and aunt of 51 nieces and nephews. An avid seamstress, skilled needle worker, ferocious Red Sox fan, world traveler, gardener, and altruistic soul, Girlie lived her extraordinarily long life to the fullest with fierce independence. She was always teaching life lessons and giving what she could back into the world and taught her family to do the same.
