Anne M. Doran of Woburn, formerly of Winchester, beloved wife of the late Charles E. Doran passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019. Born in Mount Kisco, New York on July 12, 1930, Anne was the daughter of the late Margaret (Ford) and Francis McGovern. Anne graduated from Mount Kisco High School and Becker Junior College. After college Anne worked at General Electric in New York City where she met her future husband, Charles E. Doran. They were married in 1957 and moved to Armonk, New York to raise their family. They enjoyed 48 years of marriage until his passing in 2006. Known in high school as “the girl with the smile,” Anne touched the lives of all who knew her with her bright smile, love and light. Anne was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was full of joy, greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Anne was the loving mother of daughter Pamela Connor and her husband John, and son John Doran and his wife Cindy, and the proud grandmother of Jack Connor and Will, Annie and Kate Doran. She is also survived by brother-in-law Robert Doran and his wife Dotsie and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Anne was predeceased by her husband Charles E. Doran, her son Charles F. Doran, her sister Katherine Abel and her husband Lawrence, her sister-in-law Joan Kadlick and her husband Martin, and her sister-in-law Patricia Nelson and her husband Donald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 9:00 am at St. Eulalia Parish, 50 Ridge Street, Winchester. Interment will be private at a later date.
