John gave everyone he in which he came in contact a taste of God's goodness, a breath of God's life-giving optimism and the radiance God's generous love which we as one of John's neighbors experienced first hand. John, you were a shining bright flame that brought warmth, kindness and light to our world and made it better. Rest in peace our dear friend and look forward one day to our street block party in heaven!
