Condolences

Condolence From: Ann Abbott Bowler
Condolence: Looking back many years, I was the babysitter for Ann and Richard. Recently I was looking to see if I could reconnect! I spent quite a few Summers at Squirrel Island when I was 15 or 16 taking care of 3 or 4 little ones and the baby at the time an infant! My room overlooked the rocky coast! All the sitters had the same day off and one night we all took the ferry to see the Alfred Hitchcock movie , Psycho, playing in Booth bay! My sister Jane Abbott replaced me one year but became homesick and your Dad had to bring her back to Winchester. 1 Forest Circle was our home. I wish I had been able to reconnect with your parents as there were such fond memories! I live in Millsboro DE now after spending many years in Rochester NY where my husband worked for Xerox. I hope this note finds one of you Bannister Children after all this time!

Most Sincerely,
Ann Abbott Bowler

Condolence: I remember Ann fondly as fellow Winton Club member and most talented artist. I learned to play Tambourine for the Winton Club Cabaret from Ann. She was kind and caring and is a loss to the community. Deepest sympathy to her family.
