CLEARY, Dorothy A. (Smith) of Framingham formerly of Winchester passed away peacefully on April 3, 2018. Beloved wife of the late John F. Cleary. Loving mother of Mary Ellen Butare and her husband Paul of Beaufort, SC, Janice Giovannucci and her husband Vincent of Shrewsbury, Jack and his wife Terry of Burlington, Dee DiBlasi and Ray Phillips of Sudbury, Brian of Watertown and the late Kevin Cleary and his wife Sue of Olde Town, ME and the late Mark Cleary. Dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Beloved friend and Sister-in-law Theresa Cleary, and John Cleary of Sarasota Florida

A funeral will be held from the Lane Funeral Home 760 Main St. (Rte. 38) WINCHESTER on Saturday April 7th at 9am. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at that funeral home on Friday from 4-8pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Amedisys Fdtn., MetroWest Hospice, 200 Nickerson Rd., Suite 110, Marlborough, MA 01752. Dorothy lived in Winchester for over 60 years, she was very proud of her family and loved spending time with them. She also loved her job as the Assistant Town Clerk in Winchester and retired after 25 years of service.
