Obituary for Linda A Baltzer (Anderson)

Linda A Baltzer (Anderson)
Linda Jean (Anderson) Baltzer, 68, passed away, after a brief illness, at 10:00 am on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. Linda was born September 22, 1949 to Earle E. and Eleanor (Davis) Anderson of Cranston, Rhode Island. Linda graduated from Veterans High School, Warwick, RI. and received her Bachelors Degree in Teaching from Rhode Island College.

Linda worked for thirteen years as a second grade elementary school teacher in Warwick, RI. She loved the mountains in winter and the ocean in summer and was a skilled skier and boater for fifty years with her family. Linda participated in Rhode Island beauty pageants and won "Miss Congeniality". Retired in recent years, she lived with her husband in Lincoln, New Hampshire and Punta Gorda, Florida from where she traveled and took part in many events and activities. She loved being with people and they loved her back. She reached out to everyone with friendship and affection. But, Linda's first love and priority was always her husband of forty years and her family. She worked very hard to create happiness and a good life for those she loved most. She loved animals and most of all her dog, Radar.

Linda is survived by her husband, Wayne Baltzer; her son, Jeffrey Baltzer and his wife, Taylor (Groves) Baltzer; a daughter, Debra Thomas and her husband, James Thomas; and, three grandchildren, Elin Debra Thomas, Liam Jeffrey Baltzer and Graham Anderson Baltzer.

A brief service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main Street, Winchester, MA. 01890 Visitation prior to the service will be held from 12:30-1:00 PM. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester, MA. immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.

For eternity, Linda will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
