Charles M.  Kelley
KELLEY, Charles M. of Winchester, passed away after a long illness at the Aberjona Rehabilitation Center on January 21, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 54 years to Joan M. (Arsenault) Kelley. Loving father of Karen Diaz and her husband Bruce of Fort Worth, TX, Charles F. and his wife Lynne of Potomac, MD, William and his wife Cassandra of Wilmington, NC and Elizabeth Boksanski and her husband Steve of Winchester. Dear grandfather of Aidan, Madeleine, Mia, Ted, George, Tess, Caragh and Brooke. Charlie was one of a kind. Born in Boston and raised in Belmont, Charlie graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Waltham. He was a Korean War Veteran before graduating from Northeastern University. Charlie worked as a systems analyst for Boston Edison for 40 years and served as a Director of the Boston Edison Credit Union for over 25 years. He was proud of his time as a page in the Massachusetts Senate, being a past Exalted Ruler of the Winchester Lodge of Elks & Secretary for 25 years. Charlie was always ready to sing a song, tell a (long) joke, feed an animal or help a friend. Funeral will be held from the Lane Funeral Home 760 Main St. (Rte. 38) WINCHESTER on Thursday January 26th at 9am. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St. Winchester at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
