AVOLA, Alexander J. of Winchester formerly Everett passed away peacefully on November 10, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Berte) Avola. Loving father of Patti DeFilippi and her husband Joe of Medford and Nancy Pitts and her husband Michael of Winchester. Dear grandfather of Joey and his wife Suyeon, Michael and his wife Naomi, Michael and Catherine. Cherished great grandfather of Gioia, Joey, and Elsie. Funeral will be held from the Lane Funeral Home 760 Main St. (Rte. 38) WINCHESTER on Friday November 14th at 9am. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery Everett.
